By accessing or using Famello ("the Service"), available at famello.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Your continued use of Famello constitutes acceptance of any future changes to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use Famello, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
  • Be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Service Description

Famello is a private family productivity platform offering habit tracking, journaling, task management, and family group features. We offer two tiers:

  • Free Plan: Unlimited journals, habit tracking, and todo lists for one family group with up to 4 members.
  • Premium Plan ($4/month): Unlimited habit history, unlimited families and members, full points and rewards system, and priority support.

Features and pricing are subject to change. We will notify you of material changes in advance.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Famello, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for its intended purpose — family productivity and personal organization.
  • Not post content that is abusive, harmful, threatening, or illegal.
  • Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
  • Not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
  • Not use Famello for commercial purposes unrelated to its intended family use.

5. Intellectual Property

Famello's platform: The Famello name, logo, design, code, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Famello. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you create on Famello — including journal entries, habits, tasks, and family data. By using the Service, you grant Famello a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Famello, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Payment and Billing

If you subscribe to Famello Premium:

  • You agree to pay the subscription fee of $4/month (or the current listed price).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@famello.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

Famello is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You acknowledge that you use Famello at your own risk.

9. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or use the Service in ways that harm other users or the platform. We will provide notice when reasonably possible before termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email at the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Minor changes (formatting, clarification) may take effect immediately. Your continued use of Famello after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
